I just got my betakey from a swedish online store called webhallen.se. I pre-ordered the game got the key sent to my mail 10 minutes later and then off booked the order. Maybe a bad way, but I'm buying the game later.
This is basically an open beta, so I don't see any problems in getting it this way. You could too with some google translation.

Capacitive home button sounds believable as apple has gone away with buttons on the MacBooks trackpad. Apple likes touch, not clicking. Lol

Anyone know when Comcast's real live streaming will happen? They still claim to have had the first "streaming" app, but all it is is a player for the crappiest crap nobody wants to see, and has no live TV options (even though they promised in then "early 2011" now overdue). I just realized. If AT&T and Comcast were a couple, the dishes would pile up, and the trash would never get taken out. They both are the biggest and yet set expectations and ignore any attempt of meeting them, haha

Have they fixed the issue where the News Feed constantly reverts to "Live Feed" view even though you've selected "Status Updates"?

I thought it was revolutionary - the idea that you always start with a template and never with a blank document. I thought - wow, all these years and Microsoft didn't come up with this?Actually, for the past several years Office has offered the option upon opening to load a document or pick on of several templates. Office even organizes them by type: Professional memo, sales order, etc. So, nothing new there. Move along.
Can't stand Pages. I'm a writer and it (Pages) is totally unsuitable. Clearly a wannabe DTP program, ala Publisher. I'm sure Pages is great for doing a church newsletter. For any moderately-serious writing, Pages is unacceptable.
I'm very impressed with Office for the Mac. W/ student pricing, that bundle is a steal. Mature and powerful apps. (And, strangely, the Mac version is better than the Windows version.)

To be fair, Justin Long's name was known before the Apple ads. As well as John Hodgman's. Justin for Dodgeball, and John for his stints on the Daily Show.

It is what I've been saying here for the last year. MR readers are not the target audience for the iPad, and that is why they have been so consistently wrong on the iPad's prospects until market data proves them wrong. We are NOT normal -- we like to hang out on a tech rumor site :)

In RFID reader mode the phone would be able to interact with tags in its vicinity. And in P2P mode, Bluetooth pairing can be streamlined.

There needs to be a way to manually sync contacts, as not all my contacts in my phonebook have the same name as Facebook (i save them as nick names, family names etc).
