I don't intend to get a second H-1.. The second job that I want to do is just 3-5hrs a week and dont want any sponsorship for it.
U dont have an option. If you want 2 paid jobs, you need to have 2 H1s. I dont know of any exceptions to this rule.

Most EB Immigrants (now citizens) have forgotten what's it like to be an "Immigrant in a limbo". Let's remind them!! Your thoughts might inspire someone to reconsider their decisions.
I was in your shoes in the mid 90's. and I am aware that most of you are in the midst of a messy immigration process.
But, if you had an opportunity, who would you choose and why?

i took my passport pics from walgreen....i told them passport size photos...i got my renewed passport without any problem.

You can find out by calling USCIS. There is thread here teaching tricks to get to talk to a immigration/field officer. If you can do that, you can ask him/her, and may get the answer.
By saying they wouldn't adjudicate your case becase its PD is not current, I meant they wouldn't approve your case. But they will look at your case. If something is wrong, they'll correct it or send you a RFE, both of which will result in updates. If everything is all right but only your PD is not current, they will "put in suspense" your case, which will result in an update too, and send your case to some on hold shelf. When your PD is current, they'll approve your case.

2 Call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

Can anyone tell when will EB3 India crossover to May 2001 from April 2001 without any new law.
most probably by Oct with new year dates it move to May 2001 but later bove back to old priority dates once approvals come from BEC's

Talk to a good lawyer but usually if your company places you at a client location it is not really a business entity but more like a "Placement Agency"; many states will not consider a non compete b/n a placement agency and an employee.

Mostly they do not ask you 797 if you have valid stamping. You need to show new original 797 only if you have extended one, so that they will issue i-94 till end of your extension, otherwise your i94 will have expiry date (of stamping in passport ) as your end date of I-94.

You can do that using your EAD but that could be considered a violation of H1 status. Not big deal if you do not need to maintain H1. If you want to keep H1, you cannot do that unless you are willing to re-validate H1 later on by leaving US and re-entering on H1.

I have searched the internet on this and had no luck.. i'm 20 weeks pregnant and Canadian married to a USC. I went for my medical today and had all of my backup for vaccinations / immunity but the immigration doctor wants me to get a tetanus shot. All information on the web says this is "safe" during pregnancy, however I am completely opposed to having a vaccination while pregnant or breast-feeding due to potential issues vaccinations can cause (eg: autism in children). While this is not readily "accepted" by the medical community, it is how I feel. Some very high profile people have talked about vaccinations and the dangers they can cause but the medical community seems to reject their logic (not enough studies.. who knows).
I don't feel that I should be subjected to this when I'm so opposed to it - I know I can apply for a "moral objection" but I can't find any information as to whether USCIS actually acknowledges these objections.
Has anyone out there been in a similar situation or know of how I can get an exemption from this during my pregnancy / breast-feeding stage?

They said she can start as soon as it it approved.Only thng i am worried about is when she wants to transfer H1b what are the hurdles have to be faced.I heard or enquired that as long as Quota is there she can transfer H1B.
Is it legally difficult because transfering from Non Profit to Regular Organization.
